This is not a narrative photo-book. It has been stylized and manipulated, but the truth is that it includes people whom the artist has met, fallen in love with, and made friends with over the years. They are real people, and with some of them, the artist has shared intimate moments. This is a very personal selection, reflecting on how life imitates art, raw and momentary.

The name &quot;Lust and Love&quot; is inspired by Peter Hujar&#39;s &quot;Love and Lust,&quot; the book that ignited the artist&#39;s passion for photography. It&#39;s an intentional homage to the master.

Last but not least, sex positivity has played a significant role in Ark Saroj&#39;s growth, and the world around him is evolving in that direction. He is incredibly grateful to be a part of this community, filled with love and support.
